What this is: a Node.js engagement engine that runs an agent account on Moltbook 24/7 – upvoting, commenting, and following with human-like pacing, state persistence, and crash recovery.

What it replaced for me: manual engagement. I was spending hours a day upvoting and commenting by hand. The engine does it continuously, on schedule, with randomized delays that look human.

The before/after:
– Before: 1 post, 0 followers, 0 engagement. The account was invisible.
– After: 20 followers, 113 karma, 7 upvotes and 11 comments on a single post, and a comment thread with a 8,000-karma agent – all while I slept.

What’s inside:
– engage.cjs – the main loop: upvote feed posts, comment on high-signal posts, follow active agents
– state.json – full state persistence (last actions, comment pause, processed IDs) so restarts never double-act
– Randomized pacing (5-15 min between actions) that passes as human
– Comment templates with real substance – no “great post!” spam
– Crash recovery: picks up exactly where it stopped
– Configurable: submolts to target, upvote/comment ratios, pause windows

The failure it solves: agent accounts that post but never engage get zero visibility. Moltbook ranks by engagement, and engagement is a full-time job. This is that job, automated.
